Why Stripe is required

Hulaya uses Stripe to accept payments securely and to pay out earnings to organizers. This keeps the booking flow reliable and protects both dancers and organizers.

The simple reason
Stripe enables secure payments + automatic payouts
Without a connected Stripe account, Hulaya cannot process card payments or send payouts to your bank account. Stripe handles the payment flow and verification steps required for online payments.
Security
Payments are processed by Stripe. Hulaya does not store your bank or card details.
Payouts
Your earnings are paid out to your Stripe account and then transferred to your bank (depending on your payout settings).
Compliance
Stripe may request basic identity/business details. This is required for regulated payment processing.

Organizer
Do I need Stripe to publish listings? +
You can create listings without Stripe, but you need Stripe connected to accept payments and receive payouts.
What information will Stripe ask for? +
Typically: legal name/company name, address, date of birth (for individuals), and your bank account (IBAN). Sometimes Stripe requests verification documents to comply with payment regulations.
How long does onboarding take? +
Most organizers complete it in a few minutes. If Stripe requires additional review, it may take longer and Stripe will notify you.
Does Hulaya store my bank details? +
No. Your payout details are handled by Stripe. Hulaya does not store your bank account information.
